heart of giving
Giving is part of our worship.
Giving is such a vital principle of the Christian life. It is a characteristic of God — He gave His son Jesus to pay the price for our sins. Jesus was crucified by being nailed to the cross as the ransom for us. God paid the ultimate price and showed us his heart of love towards all of us.
When you give, you enable the church to give. Giving releases the vision of our local church. It helps us to continue to be a church on mission and to keep seeing the good news of Jesus spread to those who need it, both here in our city but also in the nations where we have workers spreading the gospel.

We felt this year, that as part of our responsibility to understand the times we are in, that we should adjust our plan for our annual thanksgiving faith offering. We decided this year to ‘pivot’ or adjust for this season for what truly matters right now.
This year, we have decided to prioritise giving into 3 areas: Mercy, Mission, Momentum. And to prioritise them in that order.
Mercy
Meeting the needs of our people who are genuinely in hardship.
Mission
Continuing our support for our global partners.
Momentum
If by God’s grace, the giving is over and above the previous two needs, we would love to finish our new community youth centre at 39 Suva Street. This will release other ministries and continue to give us forward momentum into the future.
We are calling this offering ‘M3’, our collective response to the times we are in.
We are not setting targets this year but simply allowing people who feel they are able, or still feel to take a step of faith, an opportunity to contribute. It can still be one-off giving or a pledge of faith for the next 12 months.
Every gift of worship given, helps. Every sacrifice made is known by God. So again, we just want to thank you all for your faithful love for God and His people. As a church family you continue to be so generous in every season. We love you church.
